Inspiration Corporation offers a free, 8-week Job Training Program here at the Inspiration Kitchens restaurant! Our training prepares people for sustainable careers in the foodservice industry.

How do I enroll?
Please complete the interest form below. After completing the application, an Inspiration Kitchens staff representative will reach out to talk you through the next steps for enrollment.
How much does the program cost?
The program is free.
What will I learn?
- There will be lessons and resources on kitchen and knife safety, proper sanitation practices, culinary concepts, language, and techniques.
- You will work with our program staff and receive professional development skills ranging from resume writing to mock interviewing.
- All students will also receive help earning their ServSafe Illinois Food Handler Certificate.
Where is class held?
Later this summer we will return to in-person training at our restaurant in East Garfield Park (3504 W Lake St).
What kinds of jobs are available?
Our graduates find jobs in restaurants, deli counters, and fast casual establishments. Some students take what they have learned and continue their education in culinary school as well!
Students who pass the test will receive a ServSafe Food Handler Certificate.
After completing the program, students will have unlimited access to our team for employment services and continued resource connections.
